A Dewey Beach contractor has resigned after a conflict of interest complaint surrounding the ongoing investigation of Town Manager Marc Appelbaum.
The contractor, Mary Dunmyer, resigned Monday, according to a statement from Town Commissioner Mark Dunmyer. Mary Dunmyer worked as a “project director,” which is overseen by the town manager, according to the statement. The two are married.
