[justify]We are pleased to announce that the call for proposal for the 2018 g0v Summit is now open! The 2018 g0v Summit is the largest conference in Asia on civic tech and open government based issues that will be held on the 5, 6 and 7th of October, 2018 in Taipei. Thus we would like to invite you to submit your application before 11:59 pm, June 30th, 2018, Taipei Time (GMT + 08:00).[/justify]

[justify]Since 2014, g0v biennial summits, organized by the g0v community, the largest civic tech-oriented community in Asia, brings engineers, journalists, government officers, NGO workers, researchers, citizens from around the world together to exchange ideas, share practices and connect people together.[/justify]

[justify]This year, the 2018 g0v Summit will be a unique opportunity to showcase open government and civic tech initiatives to the wider IT industry, and connect the global civic tech and open government network in Asia’s main civic tech hub.[/justify]

mySociety will be hosting the 5th edition of The Impacts of Civic Technology Conference (TICTeC) in Paris on 19th and 20th March 2019.

TICTeC is the world’s only conference dedicated to exploring the impact that civic technologies and digital democracy are having upon citizens and governments around the globe.

The primary goal of the conference is to promote and share rigorous and meaningful research into online technologies and digital democracy around the world. It’s a safe place to examine what works, what doesn’t, and how best to measure that.

Call for Papers now open

If you are carrying out, or have completed, research on this theme, and would like to present your work, then please do submit an abstract / workshop proposal.

We also welcome proposals for individuals to lead workshops or give presentations relating to the conference theme.

We invite individuals to submit abstracts or workshop / presentation proposals of no more than 300 words by 11th January 2019.

mySociety is delighted to announce the return of TICTeC, our annual research conference.

Returning for its fifth year, TICTeC is the world’s only conference dedicated to exploring the impact that civic technology and digital democracy are having upon citizens and governments around the globe.

Call for Papers Now Open

The primary goal of the conference is to promote and share rigorous and meaningful research into online technologies and digital democracy around the world.

So, if you have completed research on this theme and would like to present your work, then please do submit an abstract / proposal before 11th January 2019 .

We also welcome proposals for individuals to lead workshops or give presentations relating to the conference theme.

We invite individuals to submit abstracts or workshop / presentation proposals of no more than 300 words by 11th January 2019.

Those selected for inclusion in the conference programme will be notified no later than 18th January 2019.

Presenters will be required to register for the conference by 1st February in order to confirm their slot (the registration fee will be waived for individuals presenting).

Thanks to the travel restrictions imposed due to Covid-19, TICTeC will not be going ahead in Reykjavik. Instead, we will be taking the TICTeC experience online. We very much hope you’ll join us from the comfort of your own homes.
